1. What size ET tube can be used with the Intubating Laryngeal Mask (ILMA®)?

Any size of Intavent ET tube can be used with any size of ILMA®.

Can a single use ET tube be used with a reusable ILMA®, and vice versa?

Yes.

3.
What material is the ET tubes made from?

The Reusable ET tubes are silicone and the Single use ET tubes are medical grade PVC.

4.
Are the ET tubes flexible?

Both the reusable and single use ET tubes are wire reinforced and therefore flexible/ flexi metallic.

5.
Is there is a shelf life for the ET tube reusable?

Reusable ET Tubes have a warranty against manufacturing defects for 10 uses providing the device passes the pre-use tests and is re-processed in line with the manufacturer’s instructions. There is no time limit on this warranty.

6.
What is the recommended number of uses for the stabilising rods?
