Intavent Direct Ltd has been in the airway device business for over 20 years and was responsible for bringing to market the first Laryngeal Mask Airway as designed by Dr Archie Brain.  The Laryngeal Mask Airway is now a preferred method of airway management in the majority of surgical procedures. Formerly a division of Intavent Orthofix Ltd, (now Orthofix Ltd) Intavent Direct Ltd became a separate company on 1^st July 2010.

Intavent Direct Ltd’s product portfolio continues to grow and includes devices for Oxygen Enrichment, Needle Free Drug Delivery, and the Venner™ PneuX™ VAP Prevention System for use in Critical Care.

For 2012 Intavent Direct Ltd has introduced the Nonin Equanox™ Regional Oximetry System.  An intuitive system which uses the powerful, simple design of Nonin Equanox technology that generates stable, responsive processing to inspire confidence that rSO² values reflect true patient physiology.

The aim of Intavent Direct Ltd is to maintain an innovative approach to airway management and continue to introduce new devices such as the Venner™ A.P. Advance™ Video Laryngoscope
